New York Fashion Week Fw 13.14: beauty!

So, today I'm going to speak about the beauty trends we saw at NYFW // Hoy voy a hablar de las tendencias de belleza que vimos en NYFW.

Fall and winter beauty trends are easier to memorize, since there's not as much variety as there is in spring/summer collections // Las tendencias de belleza para otoño e invierno son más fáciles de memorizar, ya que no hay tanta variedad como en las colecciones de primavera/verano.

Natural hair:

We always have shows where we see this kind of hair. In summer we see it more often, but it also an option for fall and winter.
I personally like a natural hair with soft waves better, but for fall and winter I sort of think that straight hair is more comfortable.

Siempre tenemos desfiles donde vemos este tipo de pelo. En verano lo vemos más a menudo, pero también es na opción para el otoño y el invierno.
Personalmente, me gusta más un pelo natural con ondas suaves, pero para otoño e invierno creo que el pelo liso es más cómodo.

Updos:

It may look like we would see more updos in summer, since the weather is hotter and having our hair down may bother us, but it's during fall and winter shows where we see more artistic updos. We also see really simple ones.
Ponytails, buns,...we see both, sometimes really well done and sometimes a bit messier. I like both.

Puede parecer que es en verano cuando vemos más recogidos, ya que el tiempo es más caluroso y tener el pelo suelto nos puede molestar, pero es durante los desfiles de otoño e invierno cuando vemos los recogidos más artísticos. También vemos algunos simples.
Coletas, moños,...vemos ambos, a veces muy bien hechos y otras veces más desaliñados. Me gustan los dos.

Natural make-up:

Nude looks are always a trend. They're easy to pull off no matter what the weather is like.
Using a neutral shadow on the lid to apply some light is always a good option to recreate this looks. It's also interesting to use some eyeshadow on the crease, to define a bit our eye shape without applying too much make-up.
My absolute favourite is the CH one. Some black liner, a bit of shadow to add some colour and glossy lips. It's completely natural, but that touch of colour makes it special.

Los looks nude son siempre tendencia. Son simples de llevar sin importar el tiempo.
Una buena opción para recrear el look es usar una sombra neutra en el párpado móvil, para agregar algo de luz. También es interesante usar algo de sombra en la cuenca del ojo, para definir la forma de nuestro ojo sin aplicar mucho maquillaje.
Mi favorito es el look de CH. Algo de delineado negro, un poco de sombra para agregar color y labios jugosos. Es totalmente natural, pero ese toque de color lo hace especial.

Fall is also time for more dramatic eye looks, like these beautiful smokey eyes.

El otoño es tiempo de maquillajes de ojos más dramáticos, como estos preciosos ojos ahumados.

Dark and bright lips:

And of course, the star of every season.
Red lips will always be there, but also some other dark lip colours that look perfect during fall time.
We also saw some brighter colours, which was a beautiful surprise, since I love using these colours during winter. It makes me happier =)

Y por supuesto, la estrella de cada temporada.
Los labios rojos siempre estarán ahí, pero también otros colores oscuros que quedan genial en otoño.
También hemos visto colores más vivos, lo cual ha sido una gran sorpresa, ya que me encanta usar esos colores en invierno. Me hace más feliz =)
