Frank Ocean is the face of Prada's new men's campaign

Frank Ocean is a fan of Prada. And Prada is a fan of Frank Ocean.

The singer-songwriter has shown strong support for the Italian fashion house over the past year, not only watching the spring 2020 menswear show in Shanghai, but also using his pieces for the 2019 Met Gala and in the pages of W magazine. This week, Prada took the symbiotic relationship to the next level, revealing the Spring / Summer 2020 men's campaign starring Blonde's artist.
As you can see, the images combine a black and white photo and a color photo of Ocean, using different looks from the Optimist Rhythm collection. The label has turned its logo vertically, making it an acronym for abstract thoughts and notions that define "Prada." Ocean's definition was "Programming rhythms and dancing again."
"Prada's spring / summer 2020 men's fashion campaign features a trinity of contemporary creatives, fundamental cultural personalities from now, and archetypes of tomorrow's hyper-fragmented mindset," the label explained in a press release. “Each one embodies a unique identity of the Prada man, an aspect, a perspective, multiplied by each image, each definition… Each of these men uses words to define themselves: the lyrics of a song, the words of a script. They are a model, a model, for life, for feeling. Here, words are used as a means to redefine the image, to try to define the indefinable - PRADA. "
