Chanel Supermarket was not a free for all

I had wondered about this!

If you look at the below post on the Chanel supermarket show - you would wonder how Karl kept everyone in check. I would have gone mental for something from the supermarket with the brand logo on it! Seems I wasn't alone......



An announcement made asked people to pick up their Chanel fruit and veg and make their way to the counter before the store closed. Fine, grand, seems legit. So people went mental and fought their way through the crowds to collect anything branded that they could.

However Chanel were prepared!

They had signs which stated that "All shoplifters are prosecuted upon exiting the Chanel shopping centre, when security guards promptly retrieve all stolen goods from the thieves," Lovely. Not to mention confusing for the shoppers. Turns out only the fruit and veg were free!

Ooops.

Bad idea whoever came up with that!
